Frequently Asked Questions

Can I order a blind in a colour not available on the website?

At the moment, we do not offer custom bespoke colours. Our factory blinds are available strictly in the original manufacturer fabric options and sizes listed on each product page.

Can I easily install the blind myself?

Absolutely. The blinds come with dedicated mounting brackets designed specifically for your Solis window. Installation takes under 10 minutes using just a simple screwdriver - no tape measure or fabric cutting needed.

Blackout blind or external awning - which reduces room temperature more effectively?

Both solutions reduce room temperature, but with different effectiveness. A blackout blind installed inside blocks light and provides additional insulation, reducing temperature by approximately 2-3 degrees Celsius. An external awning stops heat before it reaches the glass and can reduce indoor temperature by approximately 6-7 degrees Celsius during strong summer sunshine. For maximum heat protection in a bedroom on the top floor, the best solution is a combination: an external awning on the outside for primary heat blocking, plus a blackout blind inside for additional insulation and complete darkness. This combination can reduce temperature by up to 8-10 degrees Celsius compared to an unshaded window.
