Blackout blind for Aron roof windows – description
This blackout blind for Aron roof windows delivers complete room darkening and superior heat control, making it essential for bedrooms, children’s nurseries, and home attic offices.
Built with a multi-layer rubberised fabric, the blind reliably seals out direct daylight across all colour options to create an ideal sleep environment. The slim aluminium side rails (only 2.9 cm wide) maximise daylight when open while preventing light leakage along the sash edges. Additionally, the reflective white exterior backing helps reduce solar heat build-up, making your loft more comfortable during summer.
For high-set windows, our telescopic control rod eliminates the risk of household falls, allowing you to operate blinds safely from floor level.
Why choose this blackout blind for Aron?
Never measure the glass — blinds are chosen strictly by the Aron window’s data plate code.
Main Advantages
- Complete 99.9% blackout – multi-layer rubberised fabric seals out bright morning sun and street lights, ideal for light sleepers, shift workers, and nurseries.
- Thermal solar protection – the reflective exterior white backing reflects sun rays away to help maintain more comfortable room temperatures. (please note: the black fabric option features matching black fabric on both sides without a white backing).
- Slim light-blocking side channels – anodised aluminium guide rails prevent light leakage along the edges and ensure smooth gliding.
- Effortless multistop positioning – easily raise, lower, and park the blind at any position along the window.
- 10-minute DIY installation – simple bracket-click system with all mounting screws included. Simply attach the dedicated brackets, click the cassette in, and secure the side rails without measuring tape or cutting.
- Fits original Aron window codes – including popular sizes such as 55/78, 78/98, and 114/118.
- Easy wipe-clean fabric – colourfast material that cleans easily with a damp cloth.
- Safe tracked delivery & 2-year warranty – packed in heavy-duty reinforced cartons and backed by a comprehensive manufacturer warranty.
